The new CycliqPlus app makes overlaying your activity metrics easy and straight forward!<h2 id="select-a-video">Select a video</h2>You can do this in a couple different ways:<ol><li>Open the video editor by clicking&#xA0;Create Video</li><li>Click&#xA0;Import Video and select a video using Finder (MacOS) or Windows Explorer (Windows).</li></ol>You can also drag and drop your video from Finder, Windows Explorer or elsewhere, into the CycliqPlus window once you have opened the video editor.OR<ol><li>From the&#xA0;Devices page of the app, select your Fly device</li><li>Choose a video from the&#xA0;Footage page</li><li>Click the pencil icon in the bottom right of the video player to open it in the video editor</li></ol><h2 id="connect-strava">Connect Strava</h2><ol><li>Click on the settings cog in the top right corner of the app</li><li>Click the&#xA0;Connect with Strava&#xA0;button</li></ol>OR<ol><li>In the video editor click on Metrics Overlay</li><li>Open the&#xA0;Data Source drop down</li><li>Select Strava. If you haven&#x2019;t already connected Strava, you will be prompted</li></ol><h2 id="auto-matched-activities">Auto matched activities</h2>CycliqPlus will try to find the activity that matches your video based on your Strava Activities. If an activity is found that overlaps your video but isn&#x2019;t in the right timezone, or we don&#x2019;t find an activity at all, we&#x2019;ll make that clear!Matched activities do not guarantee that your data will perfectly align with the video off the bat. The best way to improve this is to sync the time with your Fly device using CycliqPlus mobile when you start your ride. We have a great method to sync the data to your video if you click the&#xA0;Take me there button when you find a match. Otherwise, open Metrics Overlay &gt; Data Source&#xA0;&gt;&#xA0;Advanced Activity Sync.If there isn&#x2019;t a match you will be prompted to open the date picker with the Take me there button. Here you can find an activity by selecting a date, or date window to search in. You can also get here by opening Metrics Overlay &gt;&#xA0;Data Source &gt; Strava Activities.<h2 id="isPasted">Syncing video with your metrics</h2>The team at Cycliq think the two best ways to sync your video and metrics are as follows, and in order!<ol><li>If you have cadence data and you freewheel in your video at all, listen for the sound of freewheeling and match that point to 0 cadence! Our sync window will show metrics over the map, so you can view the cadence at each point in your activity</li><li>If you don&#x2019;t have cadence data, the next best thing to do is find a position in your video that you can match to the map. This is easiest when coming to a complete stop, but can be done at any point in your video essentially!</li></ol>Important note:&#xA0;if you attempt to sync and find that your video and metrics still look slightly out of time, you can fine tune the offset of the metrics to the video. You&#x2019;ll see it adjust live while you&#x2019;re playing the video in the editor. The CycliqPlus app makes overlaying tramlines straight forward and easy.<h2 id="select-a-video">Select a video</h2>You can do this in a couple different ways:<ol><li>Open the video editor by clicking Create Video</li><li>Click Import Video and select a video using Finder (macOS) or Windows Explorer (Windows)</li></ol><ul><li>You can also drag and drop your video from Finder, Windows Explorer, or elsewhere into the CycliqPlus window once you have opened the video editor</li></ul>OR<ol><li>From the Devices page of the app, select your Fly device</li><li>Choose a video from the Footage page</li><li>Click the pencil icon in the bottom right of the video player to open it in the video editor</li></ol><h2 id="turning-tramlines-on">Turning tramlines on</h2>With your video in the editor, all you need to do to see the tramlines is:<ol><li>Open Tramline Overlay</li><li>Turn on the Tramline option</li></ol><h2 id="configuring-your-tramlines">Configuring your tramlines</h2>Based on where you are in the world, different rules may make different tramline distances more relevant. We&#x2019;ve added 1, 1.5, and 2 meter settings. All of these distances are calculated based on your settings configured in the Tramline Calibration dropdown.&#xA0;The tramline distance is measured from the widest part of your bike, for which we use the Handlebar Width. Camera Height is the height of your camera lens above the ground, and Offset from Centre is the distance between the centreline of your bike and the centreline of your Fly device. For best results, your camera should be level to the ground!<img src="https://attachments.gorgias.help/r1WE86rbrko6J4Mv/hc/GyBLV6kLwK2NbQkK/2025050608-49ee7d40-8dd6-4ad1-82aa-16ea3f7914ee-tramline1-1024x614.png" style="width: 1000px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib"><blockquote>The resulting tramline is intended to represent the tramline distance from the widest point of your handlebars on each side of your bike. For example, if your handle bars are 480mm wide, and your tramline distance is 1.5m, the tramlines should appear 3.48m wide. &#xA0;</blockquote><h2 id="exporting-and-sharing">Exporting and sharing</h2>After you&#x2019;re happy with the video in the editor, you can adjust your export settings in the Video Export Settings menu, and when you&#x2019;re ready, click the Export Video button.You&#x2019;ll be able to grab the file from your file explorer afterwards, or watch the video back in CycliqPlus!
